Dew on the Lotus 露粞连珠

Ingredients 材料:
Corn 玉蜀黍      3-4pieces(条)
Lotus Seed莲子 150g
Carrot 红萝卜    3-4pieces
Potato 马铃薯    3 pieces
Red Dates 红枣  15 pieces
Soya Bean 黄豆  200g
Mushroom 冬菇  10 pieces
Preserved Mandarin skin 陈皮 1 slice(片)

Preparation Method:

  1. Place the corn, lotus seeds, carrots, potatoes, soya beans and preserved Mandarin skin into a claypot and add in some water until it covers all ingredients. Boil for three hours.
  2. After three hours, add the red dates and mushrooms into the soup, boil for another hour and it is ready.
